Often referenced as the gateway to the University District, this six-story speculative office building is just east of I-5 in Seattle.
The tight site was maximized with three stories of underground parking, 60,000 s.f. of efficient office space and ground floor retail. The concrete structure is simple and classically proportioned. The building corner is cleaved to address the bustling intersection. The base is clad in masonry and a signature steel cornice crowns the top.
The careful balance of classical proportions and modern materials creates a building of timeless elegance.
